Plot OverviewThis anime features a protagonist named Rosette Christopher, who is a member of the Magdelene Order, a religious organization who has a side area of exorcism/devil killing. Her partner, Chrono, however, happens to be a former devil that she has befriended, and is now working alongside with in order to fulfill her duties in the Order, and more importantly to her, search for her long lost brother, Joshua, who vanished from the orphanage where they lived. Chrono is a devil who has changed his ways after the loss of his horns, his source of power. Along the way, they discover of the seven apostles that were granted god's gift and miraculous powers. They manage to rescue one of the remaining apostles: The Apostle of Charity, Azmaria Hendric. Shortly after the rescue, the main antagonist, Aion, appears before them and has a little talk with all of them. Chrono and Aion were former partners in crime, and now that Chrono has changed his ways, the two are enemies. Aion knows of Azmaria, and her powers, but doesn't take her at this point. Finally, to Rosette, he acknowledges that her brother, Joshua, is alive and wishes to see her. He also calls her Mary of Magdelene. The remainder of the anime is a mix of missions, the search for Joshua, and the battle against Aion.

Thoughts/OpinionsThis is another anime that I loved deeply. The story concept is great and everything flows and fits together perfectly. The characters are memorable and lovable, especially the main group of Rosette, Chrono, Azmaria, and Satella (later on). There's enough comedy to keep the mood a bit light hearted to counter balance the serious parts, fortunately, it's not awkwardly juxtaposed. The art is clean, and animation is fluid. The music is decent, but ceases to stand out. So why isn't this getting a 100% rating? The Ending. From a purely objective point of view, the ending is perfect, and would have been 100%. But in my personal opinions, I didn't like the ending very much at all. I thought it could have ended much better (maybe I'm just naive and childishly optimistic).
