| Thoughts/Opinions | This is some good stuff here. I'm not a man of Science Fiction or Mecha (Damn Escaflowne for setting in a bad preconception of all Mecha anime). But the action is good and exciting the entire time, and even if it is Mecha, they don't look like HUGE tanks and machines or anything, more or less limited to people with prosthetic body parts. Story is decent, though not much of it since most of the episodes are standalone, but there are a few that are continuations of an overarching one, so it's somewhat weak there, but not really. The characters are nicely done but not all of them are developed. (Those that are are probably limited to the Major, Batou, and Togusa, and possibly, the Tachikomas) The music isn't outstanding really, but if there's one thing this anime nails, it's the action, and the depicting of it. This anime is GORGEOUS. Widescreen, clean graphics, smooth animation, this anime just looks good. |
