This series follows the childhood friends group of Higushi Kotarou, Uematsu Koboshi, and Ayanokouji Takashi(commonly referred to as Ten-chan) during thier sixth year in school. One day, a strange, energetic girl moves in next door to Kotarou, named Misha, who is slightly older then the group, but nevertheless, clings on to Kotarou constantly and follows him around like a protector. A bit later, they visit the hot springs where another girl seems to be left there named Shia, who then decides with Misha to move in with her. Later, it is revealed that Misha and Shia are not originally from the earth, rather, a strange combination of an apprentice angel (Misha) living together with a demon-in-training (Shia). Oddly enough, Shia is very kind-hearted and Misha is often the one causing trouble for the group. The group quickly becomes friends and much of the plot boils down to a complex web of love when the Mitarai brother, Mitarai Hiroshi (commonly referred to as Dai-chan), and sister, Mitarai Karou join the group.

This is my last non-serious anime before I return to more serious ones, and this was quite the finisher. It's a very cute romance anime and is at the same time, comical, but in a different way than Love Hina's comical violence. The characters are still in school and relatively young, therefore, each will eat their own words (in other words, are prone to contradict themselves) whenever their lover is around and will explode whenever there is competition over their lover (or in the case of Ayanokouji and Hiroshi, their rivalry). The way the love web is set up allows for humorous events. However, it is still quite touching, even though I can't put my finger on much of a story. Think of it as a Romantic, Slice-of-Life blend of anime, with good amounts of comedy within. The characters are cute, but aren't all that annoying (with the possible exception of Misha's Tee-hee-hee-hee that comes out a lot and the "su" that she tacks on to the "-desu" syllable), and the music fits the "Kawaii" nature of the anime rather well. There is admittedly, not much of a story here, however, so if you want something deep, look somewhere else. If you feel like laughing, try out this series.
