Plot Overview
The premise of this anime features a protagonist named Urashima Keitaro, a natural klutz who has been attempting to get into Tokyo University in order to fulfill a promise to a friend in the past, saying that if they both went to Tokyo University, they would both live happily ever after. However, he has failed to get in three times already. His grandmother, who is the apartment manager at Hinata Apartments asks him to take over as she goes traveling. This apartment turns out to be an all-girls dorm, which, with the new male manager of the apartments, things become chaotic, but nevertheless interesting. The anime follows day-to-day activities and events that happen at the apartments, featuring the tenants: Narusegawa Naru, Maehara Shinobu, Su Kaolla, Aoyama Motoko, and Konno Mitsune. Developing in the background is the relationship between Naru and Keitaro, which becomes possibly the single thing stringing the series together.

Thoughts/Opinions
This would be one of the few non-fantasy anime that I've watched. It really makes me wish I had watched anime like this sooner. While Comedy is a big part of the anime, first and foremost, it is a Romance Anime. The underlying plot that actually ties everything together is a Romance one, and quite a romantic one at that. All the characters are unique in their own respect, and each is lovable in their own way. There's never a dull moment in the anime. The music, while it sounds annoying at first, it grows on you quickly. It's a catchy song, and surfaces randomly again and again. Also, a note on the "Ecchi" being in that genre. In some respects, it is present, but it's very minor, being set in a town of hot springs, you really can't expect anything else, not to mention it's a male manager at an all-girls dorm. It's not Hentai, just random bouts of minor nudity. I could probably watch this over again a few times. Also, it's not like Keitaro's perverted or anything, he just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and is just ridiculously unlucky, or at least his hands are, but it's all in the name of amusement and comical violence.
